Mildred Irwin, (Charter Member of the Lindsay Moose Lodge #659) ~ Passed away suddenly with her family at her side on Friday, August 3rd, 2012 in her 92nd year. Mildred Goodhand, beloved wife of the late Lorne Irwin. Daughter of the late Mabel and Albert Goodhand. Loving mother of Karen and her husband George Frain, Claude Irwin and his wife Gloria, Connie Lamb (Terry Nickelchok). Cherished grandmother to Marlene (Jeff Schaefer), Bonnie (Brian Gillespie), Lisa (Bill Webster), Denise Craggs, Dale Irwin (Brenda), Kevin, Melissa, Jamie Lee Lamb and Jesse Lamb (Mackenzie Malone). Great Grandmother of Emily, Alivia, Mitchell, Macguire, Lindsay, Jordan, Connor, Megan, Genevieve, Julia and Noel. Survived by her sister Aileen Johnston (the late Ross), brother Ron Goodhand (Anne), Lawrence Windrem (Helen). Predeceased by her sister-in-law Helen Thornton (the late Bob). Loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Special friend of Seigfried and the late Inge Krenn. Friends will be received at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel St, Lindsay on Tuesday August 7th, from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday August 8th at 11 am.
