Maria Roberts ~ entered into rest on Sunday, December 14, 2014 in Montreal. Maria DeJong in her 98th year was the beloved wife of the late Louis Roberts. Loving mother of Joseph and his wife Carol, Ina and her husband Elmer Clark, Marijke (Mary) and her husband James Smith, Mary Lou and her husband John Docherty and Lily-Anne and her husband Terry MacAleese. Cherished grandmother of Karen Martin, David Roberts, Jeremy Pillsworth, Jeannette Peoples, Shane Ottens, Cher Bale, Robert Docherty, Isaac Docherty, Elizabeth Docherty, Murray Clark and Barry Clark. Maria will be remembered by her 18 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to call at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Saturday, December 20th, from noon until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay.
