PATTERSON, Isla Mary (née McMillan) - WWII Veteran – Entered into rest at the Village of Taunton Mills, Whitby, on Saturday, January 21st in her 98th year. Isla was the beloved wife of Arthur B. Patterson (pre-deceased January, 2007) for 59 years. Loving mother of Reverend Fay M. Patterson of Pickering, Ontario and James A. Patterson (Wendy) of Melbourne, Florida. Cherished grandmother of Lindsay (Doug) McKay and Colleen (Shawnn) McKay, Sara, Ian and Colin Patterson and great-grandmother of Oliver, Landon, Everett, and Neve. Dear sister of Peggy Strange of Aurora, predeceased by siblings Jean, Thomas, Kenneth, and Ian. A Memorial Service will take place at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 45 Russell Street, Lindsay in the spring of 2017. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay, at a later date. Please contact the funeral home for more information.
