BARKER, Douglas Charles - Entered into rest at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Monday, February 13th, 2017 in his 58th year. Douglas was the loving husband of Gwen Archer in their 36th year of marriage. Loving father of Courtney (Pierce) Robitaille of Alberta, Alicia (Jesse Sullivan), Mitchell (Jessica Heard). Cherished papa of Brooklynn "Babs" Barker. Son of the Flossie Parcells and late Lorne Barker. Brother of Sheryle Currins (Murray), Gerald (Connie), Nancy Pearce (Ron), David (Virginia), Barbara John (Jeffrey) and predeceased by Gary and Pat. Dear son-in-law of Joe and Eleanor Archer. Douglas will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay (705) 328-2721, on Friday, February 17th from 2:00 - 4:00pm. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.. A second visitation will take place at Celebrations 35 Lindsay Street North on Saturday, February 18th at 1:00 until time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery and a Reception to follow at the Masonic Hall.
