BOULTBEE, Eleanor Adelaide (née Thornton) – At Victoria Manor, Lindsay, Ontario on Monday, March 13, 2017 (born March 28, 1919), in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Patrick Horace Boultbee (1998) and mother of Pamela Molloy (Jim), Linda Kupiec (Joe), Sylvia Best (Stephen), Patricia Boultbee, Jocelyn Lee (Rob Blair) and Heidi Goodman (Sean). Beloved grandmother of Tamara Best (Darren), Kimara Molloy, Jamie Molloy (Shannon), Brendan Molloy (Lindsay), Cheney Molloy (Michelle), Marina Mudge (Bill), Todd Fockler (Sarah), Jason Fockler, Martin Best, Melissa Vickerson (Rob), Jennifer Marshall (Will), Christopher Lee (Christy), Ryan Goodman, Heather Goodman (Brian Hector) and Jonathan Goodman. Beloved great grandmother of Autumn and Cailleah Molloy, Jacob Fockler, Jadynn Vaughan, Zachary Fockler, Jordan and Holden Molloy, Liam and +1 Molloy, Jordan Rohatuk-Lee, Katelynne Powell, Keiran, Erin and Madelyn Vickerson. Eleanor was the daughter of the late Harry Percy Thornton and Lucienna Maud Scales. Predeceased by her siblings Victor and Gloria and survived by siblings Ray, Lorraine, Larry, Lucienna and Muriel. Eleanor’s interests included sewing and family gatherings and she shared with her husband Patrick of 56 years a passion for genealogy, country road trips and cottage life. Eleanor and Patrick made their home in Toronto where they raised a family of six daughters. Family and friends are invited to call at the Mackey Funeral Home 33 Peel Street, Lindsay (705-328-2721) for Visitation on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. A Reception will follow at the funeral home. A Private Interment will take place later at St. James Cemetery, Toronto. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kawartha Ancestral Research Association Inc.
