Condolences

Condolence From: Laurel Campbell
Condolence: Kay, I'm sorry to be so late in sending my condolences but no one had told me of your mother's death. I thought the world of Aunt Catherine and though we didn't visit often I have fond memories of her.

I remember after moving to Northern Ontario, I sent her a birthday card, probably for her 80th. I know there was to be a party and I teased her about not tiring out the eligible gentlemen on the dance floor. She thoughtfully wrote me back but made no promises of good behaviour. What a pet!!!

Sad that we lost touch, and that the "boys" Braden, now 42 and Ryan, 40, didn't have a chance to spent time with her. She would have been a great influence on them, as she was on so many.

Hope this message gets forwarded to you.

With fond memories,

Laurel Pogue Campbell

Condolence From: Jane Randall
Condolence: Dear Kay and family. I heard of Catherine's death on Saturday when I went to see my mom. I am sadened that I was not able to say "I am sorry" to you personally Kay after your mom passed away. Catherine and I have been "friends" for the last 10 years, ever since my mom was admitted. I will always remember Catherine as being happy, pleasant and always iterested in others. She told me some of her life story one day and I was amazed and all the things she had to overcome. Not easy especially in those days.
I will forever remember Catherine when I walk past her room in Gibson.
What a great lady she was!!!
