DORSCH, Grace (née Beech) - It is with sadness we announce the passing of Grace, at the age of 94, after a full and well lived life. Grace will be lovingly remembered by Lorne, her husband of 70 years, who was at her side when she died, and her son David (Pat), grandchildren, Stephanie (Matthew), Alicia and Jacqueline, and 7 month old great grandson, Memphis. Grace was predeceased by her son, Ken. Grace loved spending summers at the cottage, golfing and entertaining their many lifelong friends. She loved playing the piano, knitting, and baking, until her arthritis made it too difficult. And most importantly she loved spoiling her granddaughters while regularly beating them at cards and Yahtzee. Grace was deeply involved in the mission of the church, and was Lorne’s staunch supporter in all of the church activities during Lorne’s pastoral care charges, including charges in Naperville, Illinois, Milverton/ Rostock, Olivet United (Kitchener), and Cambridge St United (Lindsay). She was an integral part of all these parishes where she also sang in the church choir. She spent her last 2 years happily at Victoria Village, Barrie, getting her nails and hair done regularly and participating in activities, including winning many bingo games. We thank the staff at Victoria Village and her caregivers for their wonderful care. Private interment has taken place. A Celebration of her life will take place at 2:00p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Cambridge Street United Church, Lindsay.
