MATHIAS, Thomas (Veteran WWII, May we live in peace, flying after the war as a bush pilot mainly in of Ontario, owner of Rockland Airways in the Kawartha Lakes.) Thomas entered into rest peacefully at the Fosterbrook Nursing Home, Newcastle, Ontario on Thursday January 11, 2018 in his 93 year. Thomas was the beloved husband of the late Anne. Loved father of sons Peter and his wife Valerie, Michael and his wife Helen, Stephen and daughter Catherine Mathias. Cherished grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and furry friend for 22 years to Oscar. Tom is remembered warmly in the many publications and thesis of his daughter. Private graveside service was held at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay on Tuesday, January 16th.
