Hamilton, Ellen “Ella” Close (nee Curry), Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Victoria Manor. Ella at the age of 84, was the beloved wife of David Hamilton in their 67th year of marriage. Loving mother of Patricia Allain (Guy), Lesley McGregor (Duncan), Karen Hamilton, David Hamilton (Teresa), Diane Ellison (Bill), and Elaine Oades (Mike). Cherished Grandmother of Caitlin and Phillip; Calumn, Alanna, and Graham; Hilary and Sandy; David, Nicholas, and Dana; Jeremy, Sean, and Jack; Charlotte, Elora, and William. Great-grandmother of Gunnar, Addison, Olivia, Conor. Visitation will take place at Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street Lindsay on Wednesday April 4 from 7:00 to 9:00p.m., and at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church on Thursday April 5th from 12:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery Lindsay. If desired, a memorial donation to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation will be appreciated by the family. Online donations and condolences can be made through www.mackeys.ca
