STEWART, Robert James - Passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017 with his family by his side at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Mary Street, Lindsay. Robert, in his 76th year, was the beloved husband of Dorothy Stewart (nee Irwin), for 53 years. Loving father of Irwin Stewart and his wife Sheila, and cherished grandfather of Jessica. He is survived by his brother Carl Stewart and his wife Maryanne. Remembered by his extended family and many friends. In keeping with Robert’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
