Condolence: Dianne, I recently heard from my parents the sad news of Lew's passing. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and my sympathies to you, Valerie and Greg. I was touched to read that Lew had so many friends in the curling community. To this day I still curl and I have the Tremeer's to thank for that and for the profound influence its had on my life.

Condolence From: Robert Porter
Condolence: To the family of Lewis, sorry for the passing, must have been sudden. I am a distant cousin, I believe our Grandmothers were sisters on the Codwill side and I went to HS with Lewis. I spoke with him at the auction sale, busy day and didn't talk long. I just us a computer at the Library in Oshawa and most times check the obituary's and thought I just talked a few weeks ago. I did talk with his daughter / inlaw also. Take Care and I would have come to visitation but to late but will be thinking of you at this sad time. Robert and family.

Condolence From: Glenda and Murray Barry
Condolence: It is with a sad heart that I write to you Dianne in the loss of Lewis. He was a great inspiration to everyone - church, curling, cards, hockey and an all-round gentleman. I remember working with him on Church business, arguing politics and being on the executive for the Oakwood Curling Club. I cannot count on my fingers the number of times I called him Louie, Dewey or Huey - sooner or later he would laugh and I would get it right. Rest in peace Lewis. No more pain or suffering.
