Hemmings, Karen ~ passed away peacefully after a long battle with M.S. at Extendicare Kawartha Lakes on Thursday, November 23rd, 2017. Karen at the age of 62 is the beloved mother of Lisa and Grant (Mary). Loving grandmother to Alyssa. Adored sister of Kevin (Lori). Predeceased by her parents Frances Brownlee (Robert). Karen will be missed by her nieces, nephews and extended family. The family would like to thank all the nurses at Extendicare for their care and compassion shown towards Karen during her time with them. Arrangements entrusted to the Mackey Funeral Home. In following Karen's wishes, cremation has taken place with a private family interment held in Toronto.
