With Laughter, Love and Kindness We Remember. Barry Thorpe passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe on Monday, February 18, 2019 at the age of 76. Predeceased by his parents Orin & Marnie Thorpe. Loving soulmate to his wife Shirley of 55 years. Cherished Dad to his two children Carey Thorpe (Randy Milthorpe) and Todd Thorpe (Louise Forster). Proud Papa to his four precious Grandchildren; Madison & Carson Milthorpe, and Charlotte & Leah Thorpe. He will also be missed by his two “Grand-Dogs” Cuddy and Cassie. A Celebration of Barry’s life will be held at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Saturday, March 9th, with visitation from 12:00 p.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
