Condolence From: Terry and Roxanne Carter
Condolence: So sorry to hear that Lloyd passed away recently. I had the pleasure of working with Lloyd at IE Weldon in the 80's and enjoyed talking to him on a number of occasions over the years. Lloyd was a dedicated teacher, husband and father. He loved working with students either in the classroom or after school coaching football or basketball. He tutored our daughters in math. They said he was so kind and patient with them. I'll miss his great sense of dry humour and his positive outlook on life. Our condolences to all of his family and friends. Rest in peace Lloyd.

Condolence: Mr. Graves was my math teacher a couple of times through high school. He was very professional, gentle and sensitive to the students. What a great testimony he has of overcoming the tragedy of his parents' sudden death - he had no lingering anger or bitterness issues, but let God work in him His hope and joy.

Condolence From: Murray & Shirley MacAlpine
Condolence: Barb, Warren, Emily, Ethan, Aidan, Jen, Steve and Elise. Murray and I have known Lloyd as an intelligent, gentle and compassionate man who cared deeply, worked hard and quietly excelled in everything that he set out to do. A teacher who influenced the lives of so many young people who, to this day, value the life-long skills that he taught. And all the while a successful farmer, reflected in the crops and livestock that he tended. On retirement, he took on Real Estate where his genuine care for people shone through again. It was in this capacity that he helped Murray and I walk through and adhere to rather complicated by-laws and red tape to prepare a property to sell. To us this reflected his life-long desire to learn, a quiet, respectful approach and strong, determined will. A pillar of love and strength for his family … husband, father and grandfather who talked about his children and grandchildren … their music, hockey, and accomplishments with an air of modesty but loving pride. We will miss Lloyd and the irresistible and contagious smile that was only his. We know that God has taken Lloyd to be with Him … and we pray that He will touch your hearts and spirits with His healing hands. Kindly and with a whole lot of love, Murray & Shirley MacAlpine

Condolence: Sincere condolences to the Graves family. Mr. Graves was my math teacher at Weldon back in the day . As i remember him .... He had a quiet grace about him and was a man of few words, but I distinctly recall the smile. His patient nature and willingness to go over the lesson of the day ... as many times as necessary to ensure you got it, and boy when you did you saw the wide grin . Truly a teacher i have fond memories of and will never forget . RIP Mr. Graves .
