Painter, Alice – Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, September 3rd at the age of 85. Alice is the beloved wife of Stanley Balding in their 11th year of marriage and is predeceased by her husband Wilfred Painter (2004). Loving Mother of Nancy Painter, Sharon Painter and Jennifer Morton (Brian), stepmother of Bryan Balding, Larry Balding (Monica) and the late Wayne. Cherished Nana of David Harrington (Alison), Christopher Harrington, Crystal Sauvé (Shawn) and Stephanie Adams. Great-Grandmother of Gage Stanley. She will be missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will take place at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Thursday, September 5th from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 and a funeral service will take place the following day on Friday, September 6th at 1:00 p.m. If desired, a memorial donation to your local humane society would be appreciated by the family.
