Anna was the cherished wife of Witold, beloved mother to Hugh (Monica) and Michael (Jenna) and treasured grandmother to Tyler.  She was a daughter to Edward and Mariana Nowak and a sister to Mark and Krzysztof.  Anna was born in Kielce, Poland on May 24th, 1949 where she met and married Witold and they started their family before immigrating to Canada in 1982.  Anna had a huge heart and was devoted to her family; whom she loved dearly.  Anna was happiest surrounded by her family after having prepared a beautiful meal, in her garden surrounded by flowers or feeding treats to the many family pets.  Anna had a beautiful smile that showed her warm and generous spirit, with a touch of mischief.  She was brave and resilient and always available for chat, up for a laugh or willing to share a recipe.  The warmth of her love and mushroom soup will live on in our hearts forever.
