Ardwell Eyres ~ entered into rest at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre on February 16, 2022 at the age of 97. Private (Ret’d) Ardwell Eyres served in WWII Medical Corps. He was the son of the late Thomas and Clara Eyres and husband of the late LeOla Eyres (2012).  Proud father of son Larry Eyres (Lorna) and daughter Karen Sykes (Ross). Beloved Grandfather of Richard (Nancy), Julie and Elizabeth. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews Ken, Susan, Sharrie, Jim, Nancy, Mary Ann, Victor and their families. Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Vickie Storm, cousin Kenneth Munroe and life long friends Barbara Morris and Esther Maunder. Predeceased by his brother Donald Eyres and niece Mary Louise. With Covid restrictions and group gathering hesitation, arrangements have been entrusted to Mackey Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place at Eden Cemetery, Cambray, February 23, 2022 at noon, with burial to follow in the spring.
