Beverley Jean Findlay peacefully entered into eternal rest October 3rd, 2020 at Ross Memorial Hospital in her 77th year. Predeceased by parents Ken and Mae Roman and brother Don Roman, sister Joan Harris, and nephew Ross Harris. Bev will be fondly remembered by her husband John, daughter Debbie (Jim) Sinclair, sons Ken (Wendy) and Chris Findlay. Her six grandchildren Trevor, Brooke, Isaac, Zachary, Jasmine and Katie and great grandchild, Amelia will miss her greatly. She is survived by brothers Wayne (Ann) and Bob (Dawn) Roman and sisters Marilyn (Terry) O’Leary and Gwen (Lloyd) Pearson as well as many nieces and nephews. Bev was honoured by friends and family October 6th, 2020 at Mackey Funeral Home and laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery. Her community impact included proprietorship of Bev’s Restaurant in Omemee and service duties at the 910 Motel in Lindsay. Bev called the Lindsay area home for the last 47 years. She worshiped with the Salvation Army church and helped with their Christmas Kettle Campaign and Women’s Ministries. Always thinking of others, Bev enjoyed helping the elderly. Her loves included her family, baking, visiting friends, colouring and watching Heartland. Her many friends will miss her dearly. Donations to the Salvation Army of Lindsay Corps would be appreciated by the family. Condolences and memories can be shared at www.mackeys.ca

I am just seeing that my friend of many years has passed. She was a wonderful kind loving person, and the world has lost an angel for sure. I am saddened that I did not know. I would have paid my respects on the day of her funeral. Let me know if anyone in the family needs anything. So many wonderful memories that I have of her and John as well. Time sure moves too fast. She had a wonderful faith and is at home with her maker. Till I see you again, my dear friend...blessings to the family

I start to write only to erase. Words cannot describe and convey what is in our hearts. My wife and I have known Bev and her family going back 42 years and can say she was one of the finest woman that we have met , always there to lend a helping hand without question . How she devoted her life to John and her family of which she thought the world of. There is no question in my mind because of knowing Bev and becoming friends have made us better people . She has left a string of acquittances that have affected them in the same way . Friends come and go but Bev's spirit will live in our heart forever .
all our love doug and sue
