Roberts, Catherine Lynn

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Catherine at home with the love of her life by her side on February 18th, 2022 at the age of 65 years.

Beloved wife of Jeff for 35 years.  The bond between Cathy and Jeff was so strong they renewed their vows more than once.  Loving mother to Jennifer (Craig), Jeffrey (Melissa), Mark (Rachel), and Katie (Dan).  Cherished Nana to Meghan, Joshua, Jesse, Danika, Zachary, and Jaxon.  Dear sister to Laurie and her late brothers Donnie, Brian, Dave and Larry.  Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and their children.  Also missed by her work family of 24 years at CPS.

Cathy was best known for the love for her family, kindness to others, an admirable sense of humor, the hostess with the mostest, roast beef dinners and her carrot cake.  Her greatest joys came from travelling to a warm destination, a warm cup of Tetley tea, a cold beer around a campfire, a kitchen full of roosters, having a full house to feed during the holidays, watching an episode of Judge Judy or any movie with her "main squeeze" Vin Diesel.  Cathy would often say "the good die young" and "no time is a good time to go" - isn't that the truth!

A special thanks to Kianda and the nurses of Paramed Home Health Care for their compassion and care.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 23, 2022 between 6pm and 9pm at the Mackey Celebrations Inc., 35 Lindsay Street North in Lindsay, Ontario.  The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at the Canadian Cancer Society PLEASE CLICK HERE.
