Obituary for Charlotte May Purves-Emes (Fraser)
PURVES-EMES, Charlotte May – Entered into rest at her home on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the age of 69. Charlotte was the beloved wife of John Emes, celebrating their 5th year of marriage on the day of Charlotte’s passing. Charlotte is predeceased by her 1st husband David Purves (2012). Loving mother of David Purves Jr. (Anna Abate), Robert Purves (Marlene Ferriera-Purves), Tammy Purves (Ben Helliwell) and Liana White. Cherished Grandma of Olivia-May Purves, Jesse Purves and David White. Dear sister of Linda White, and the late Chris Fraser. Charlotte will be missed by John’s family; Janna (Fabian Martinez), Kaden Emes, Alyssa-Lin Martinez and Kelly Emes. She will be remembered by Vita Abate, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Charlotte was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She would care for anyone who came into contact with her, or her family and would accept them as her family.
Visitation will take place at Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Wednesday, December 29th from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. All guests are required to wear a face mask and covering, and show proof of full vaccination or provide a negative rapid COVID-19 test within 48 hours. If desired, a memorial donation to the Crohn’s and Colitis Canada, Arthritis Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
