Constance (Connie) Lynn Friar (MacPherson) July 2nd 1958- May 22nd  2022

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected death of Constance (Connie) Lynn Friar (MacPherson) on May 22nd 2022 in her 64th year.  . Her spirit, beauty and passion were admired and loved by many.

Connie was the cherished and loving wife of Paul Friar. She was a most loving mother to two amazing children, Angela Friar (Chris Prezanno) and William Friar (Kristina Friar). Beautiful youngest daughter of the late Lorne and Alfreda MacPherson. Her grandchildren personify the best of Connie’s intelligence, spark and independence. She was the dearly loved and devoted grandmother to Lillia and Cohen Friar and Victoria and Alexander Prezzano. Connie always valued the time spent with family laughing, loving and living amongst everyone that knew her; Home was wherever Connie was.

Connie was a wonderful sister to Loraine McRae (Pat 2020), Elizabeth and Allan Nicholls, and Hugh MacPherson. Connie was a favourite aunt to many generations of nieces and nephews (33).

She is sadly missed by her many loving friends and will remain always in the hearts of everyone who ever knew her far and near.

Connie was a gifted teacher and spent her years helping children with special needs. Later as a consultant, she was able to mentor and pass along her knowledge to numerous fellow colleagues. Teaching was her calling and she provided that same amount of love and determination to her students in order to help them have the best lives possible.

The family would like to thank everyone for their support and outpouring of love for Connie and her entire family.

A Celebration of life is taking place on June 4th from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay St. N., Lindsay, ON K9V 1T3.

Memorial donations may be made in Connie's name to Five Counties Children's Centre.
