I got to meet Debbie through the Church and would talk to her during the Fellowship Hour after Church. I sang with Debbie during the Cantatas and Easter and Christmas. She checked on me when had the power failure because of lightning strike. RIP Debbie Until We Meet Again!!!!!!!!!!!

The last time I saw Debbie we were at TLAC picking up our girls and having a little chat in between watching their performances. . We talked about our teaching year and commiserated over cuts to education We were both looking forward to the summer break. We talked of our daughters and how they have grown and their plans for the future. She was so proud of her girls and their talent. One of the twins came up to us and she asked me if I knew which one she was. I told her it was Morgan. "How did you know?" she asked and I pointed to her name tag!! Debbie laughed so hard!! We talked of getting together over the summer at a coffee shop and she was embarrassed to say "I'm sorry but you have to tell me your name again" But she asked anyways, because it was important to her and she was honest and forthright and I'm so very sorry that we will not be getting together at a coffee shop because I was really looking forward to that. Debbie was a beautiful person and she will be missed. My deepest condolences to Selina, Morgan, Olivia and Bart.

Very saddened to hear the news of Debbie’s passing. Our sincerest condolences to Selina, Morgan, Olivia and Bart. I could tell how proud Debbie was of each of her girls in the few times we talked during the hockey season.
