Born at Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland on February 17, 1948. Passed away peacefully at Peterborough, Ontario on November 22, 2022. Devoted wife of David of 51 years. Cherished mother of Jennifer and Jaclyn. Beloved daughter of the late Harold Mackinnon Ellis and Eileen Patricia Ellis. Dear sister of Nancy (Ellis) Maloney. Loving Nana of Joshua. Those who knew Dianne will remember her as a caring, gentle soul.  She had a graceful spirit and shone a light on the world with her joyous smile. She was taken too soon and she will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends and held daily in their hearts. Visitation will take place at Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 12:00pm. until time of service at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay. There will be a reception held at the Pie Eyed Monk.
