Daynes, Donald - On Wednesday, November 27th Don, peacefully passed away at his home in Millbrook, Ontario surrounded by his family where he then journeyed to be with his Lord and Saviour.
Don was a devoted husband to Teresa. Beloved Father of Mark (predeceased in 2011) and his wife Anna. Beloved Father to Stephen and his wife Rebecca.
Don leaves a beautiful legacy through the lives of his remarkable Grandchildren; Joshua, Noah, Ellise, Daniella, Rachael, Emily and Chelsea.
Don had a gift in connecting with people and he believed that everyone deserved a remarkable life. Whatever the situation Don may have seen a person in, he found a way to come into their life. He was an advocate, a confidant, a mentor and he made it impossible for anyone to leave a conversation with him without laughing or having a smile on their face.
Don believed that through showing kindness and love, people’s lives could be transformed. In the years in which he was given, Don proceeded to impact lives, accomplishing the good work God intended him to do.
Don strived to empower people and through words of encouragement to those he met or taught, he affirmed to them about his belief in the life changing power of Hope. “We can lose many things, opportunities and people in the course of our lives. These are the times when your hope will step in. Without Hope you have nothing. With Hope you have everything.”
