BOWEN, Doreen Lois (née Wright) – Passed away peacefully with family by her side, at Caressant Care Mary Street on Wednesday, November 21st, 2018. Doreen at the age of 86, was the beloved wife of the late Norman Bowen. Cherished mother of Joyce Bowen, Barb Ingle, Cindy Bowen, Norma Weatherall (Randy) and predeceased by Fred Bowen (survived by Marj). Loving Grandma of Chris (Reah), Lisa and Laurie (Kevin); Jeff and Angela; and Colin (Ashley) and Cameron. Great-Grandma of Tyler, Chelsea and Samantha; Kristian, Joshua and Sarah; Amber, Emily, Courtney and Jeremy. Dear sister of Velma Burnett (Jack) and Marion Staples, and predeceased by Levern Wright (survived by Bonnie). She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Caressant Care Mary Street for her excellent care. Visitation will take place at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Saturday, November 24th from 1:30p.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2:30p.m. If desired, a memorial donation to Janetville United Church would be appreciated by the family.
