Today I was cleaning out pictures and found some from high school and this gem was included. This was taken the last day of high school at Phil Barnett’s house on June 10, 1982. I was sharing them with Tanya and Phil Barnett, Lauren (Messer) O’Leary, Barb (Post) Remington and they told me. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Heather & Sinclair,

I only just learned of Dorian's passing. My husband and I only had opportunity to meet you once at a wonderful Xmas party you and Dorian hosted. Dorian had been a friend through Carleton U. I am deeply saddened to hear this news. Dorian was always a great energy and kind to me. I regret life got in the way and we were not able to stay in touch. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you will find comfort in your memories and in knowing how much Dorian touched others. My deepest sympathies. Kim Collingwood & Gary Fackelmann

I learned yesterday that my childhood best friend passed away. Dorian and I were practically inseparable in high school. We went to our first concert together (David Bowie - Exhibition Place), we were in school plays together (he was Schroeder - pictured), ski trips, all the things teenagers did. We headed out to different universities but still got together for great times. From Winterlude, to swimming across the Rideau Canal (I took the long way around over the bridge), and the ski trips with the guys at Tremblant (I broke my arm, he had to pay cash to get it set), they were times I have always remembered fondly. Dorian always had such a joy of living. Heather and Sinclair, I am so sorry I missed his celebration. Pete did his best to connect with me. Thinking of the 2 of you at these times. Take care of each other.

I just learned a few days ago about Dorian. He was a great friend of mine during my days at Carleton. He was so funny and such a loyal friend. Just out of Carleton he was the only one of us that owned a truck. He was constantly helping people move or pick up furniture without even having to ask. I can't stop thinking of him in these past few days and how many laughs we shared and what a terrific and loyal friend he was.

Dorian, you were always larger than life, and such a wonderful friend. We will always remember your sense of humour, love for life, and love of all things butter tart! You were one in a million, and are going to truly be missed. Rest peacefully my friend, we will meet again.
Love and condolences,
Bruce and Patti Keddy
