Woodcock, Dorothy Mae (née Hancock) - Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at the age of 87. Dorothy is predeceased by her husband Woody, her parents Edith and Bill Hancock, and survived by her loving children; Debbie Wallace (Bob), Kathy Wakelin (David) and Janet Savard. Cherished “Nanny” and Grandma to the late Jacob, Sabrina (Patrick), Lucas (Carly), Jessica (Ray); Andrea, Gregory, Leah; Rodney (Kirsten) and Monique. Great G.G. to Sophia, Paisley, Isla; Jacob, Cole, Kira; Ryley, Jaycee, Jack and Harlee. Dear sister of Florence Hickson (the late Mal), the late Elaine (Jack) and Sandra (the late Bill). She will be missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Dorothy was an active member of the ‘Red Hat Ladies Society’. Visitation will take place at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay Street North on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 6:00 until 8:00pm, and on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 10:00 until time of funeral service at 11:00am. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Lindsay. If desired, a memorial donation to Jacob Wallace Memorial Fund would be appreciated by the family.
