On January 23rd 2023, Douglas J. Louch C. D. of Lindsay, Ontario passed away at the age of 91 years.

Son of the late Reginald and Winnifred Louch (née Court).

He is predeceased by his wife Marion (née Dunsby) of 66 years and his brother Jack.

Doug served 26 years in the Communication Branches of the R.C.N. and the R.C.A.F. He then served 10 years with the Canadian Coast Guard.

He cherished exchanging stories of service with his longtime friend from public school, John Danilko, and their bond will remain strong for eternity.

Doug was a man loved dearly by all who knew him and his heart of gold, especially his longtime best friends Norm and Sandy Mills.

Father of David in Windsor and Allison (Terry) of Lindsay. He will be lovingly remembered by granddaughter Monique and adopted grandchildren Ashley (Tyler) and Adam of Hamilton.

If you wish to pay your respects to this wonderful man you are more than welcome to attend the visitation at Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Sunday, January 29th, 2023 from 6:00pm-8:00pm and the following day at Mackey Funeral Home on Monday, January 30th, 2023 at 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes or a local animal shelter would be appreciated by the family.
