Edward (Ted) James Baylis passed away peacefully in the presence of family on June 12, 2022 at Caressant Care Long Term Care Home, in Lindsay, Ontario. Beloved husband of 55 years to Sharon Baylis (Wallace) and father of Todd Edward Baylis (deceased June 17, 1994) and Cory James Baylis.

Ted was an incredible husband whose love for Sharon knew no bounds; whose dedication, commitment, and loyalty was unfaltering to the very end - soulmates. Ted was a loving, caring and deeply committed father who was adored by his two sons and who in turn, adored them. 

Ted was well respected and admired by his colleagues in the Toronto Police policing community. He impacted the lives, for the better, of all those he met, young and old. His warm, loving personality and glowing smile will be deeply missed by his family and friends alike.

A private ceremony for family will be held and Ted will be interred at the Dunsford cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, his family requests that a donation could be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Ontario and may be made at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay
