MCKAY, Eleanor ~ Long time employee of the Scarborough Library ~ Passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Caressant Care, Lindsay in her 89th year. Predeceased by her loving husband George. Loving mother of Janet Martin (Steven). Proud Gramdma of Alec, John, and Scott. Fondly remembered by her brother John and Lori Dickinson and her niece and nephews, Jeff, Brian, and Jill. We would like to give a special thank you to Caressant Care for their excellent care of Eleanor. Eleanor was a professional baseball player who was among the first women's professional players. She was named, "The Tall, Graceful Left-Hander". She will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Eleanor's wishes no service will be taking place.
