Obituary for Eric Shrubb
In loving memory of
Dr. Eric Frank Shrubb DC 1941 – 2020
Passed away September 9, 2020 suddenly at home in Little Britain in his 80th year.
Beloved husband of Marilynn Small. Stepfather of Louise & Paul Hendriks of Vancouver, grandfather of Lyle & Leo Hendriks of Victoria and Vancouver. Pre-deceased by his parents,Gertrude, and Dr. Roy Shrubb of Toronto.
Eric is a graduate (1964) of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where he also taught for many years. He managed a Chiropractic practice in Scarborough both with his father & independently for 50 years.
While he was on the executive of the Chiropractic Radiology Group, Eric and his colleague and best friend, Len Hardman,delivered annual seminars across Canada.
Eric was one of six co-founders of the Canadian (formerly Ontario) College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto in 1978. He served as President 1978-1981.
He taught many chiropractors, helped numerous patients, was well recognized and respected in the profession.
He will be greatly missed by all.
Cremation has taken place. In accordance with Eric’s wishes, no funeral service is planned. Donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army.
