Evelyn Dorothy Altreta Swinson entered into rest at Extendicare Lindsay on Wednesday February 3, 2021 at the age of 95. Evelyn (nee Young) was the beloved wife of the late Ken Swinson. Loved mother of Marlene and her husband Walter Merkir and Susan Cote. Cherished by her grandchildren Jodie (Brett) Bourgon, Justin (Keri) Merkir, Jennifer (Shawn) Gibbons, Jeremy (April) Cote and great grandchildren Alyssa Malinas, Daniel Malinas, Dylan Burk, Samantha Cote, Jordan Cote, Brooklyn Gibbons, Joshua Gibbons. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and friends. Dear sister of Carol Kirk. Evelyn is predeceased by grandson Jason Burk and her sisters Luella Doucette, Mabel Kelly, and Linda Schneider. A private family burial has taken place at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay.
