Couvier, Freda May (née Belfry) – Passed away peacefully at Caressant Care McLaughlin on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at the age of 94. Freda was the beloved wife of the late William Couvier. Loving Mother of the late Leona May Cooper (the late Ed Giroux), William “Bill” Couvier (Leeanne), June Fountain (Hugh), Kenneth Couvier, Georgina Swinson (the late Bob “Victor”), Barbara “Barb” Fountain (the late Warren), Emma Clements (Chris), and the late Gordon Couvier. Cherished Nana of 23, Great-Nana of 51 and Great-Great Nana of 12. Dear sister of Wayne Belfry and is predeceased by her siblings Gert Stewart, Stella Hartin, Berdina Miles and Gary Belfry. She will be missed by many nieces, nephew and extended family. Visitation will take place at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Wednesday, August 14th from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday, August 15th from 12:00 p.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Kinmount Cemetery.
