Obituary for Fred Bader
Bader, Frederick Allan - May 1, 1938 - September 24, 2019
Fred went to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, September 24th, at the age of 81. Fred, beloved husband of Barbara Jean for 61 years. He loved Barb, life and his family. Formerly trained as a mechanic, he was blessed to return to school to achieve his diploma as a Child and Youth Worker and begin a second career he loved, working with children. He was a foster parent for 29 years and father to many “children of his heart”. Fred leaves a legacy of love through his devotion as a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and even a great-great grandfather. Barbara and all of his children will honour him and hold him dear to their hearts.
Our family will honour Fred through a celebration of his life at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 125 Victoria Avenue North in Lindsay on Saturday, October 5th, 2019. Visitation begins at 11 a.m. with a service to follow at 12:00 and luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation to Calvary Pentecostal Church would be appreciated by the family.
