Gary Grant Whitney,  (Die hard Leaf’s fan who enjoyed fishing, painting by numbers, the outdoors and family time)   Entered into rest at Lakeridge Heath, Oshawa on January 9 2022 at the age of 76.  Gary was the loving father of Aaron (Johanna) Whitney, Hope Whitney and Cathy (John) Whitney.  Cherished grandfather of Jessica (Jesse) and Carolyn.  Survived by his sisters Sandra, Elaine, Barbara, Cathy and Bobbie also predeceased by his brothers Peter, Dennis, Clayton, Alan, sisters Marlene, Patricia, Gail Baby Whitney.   A funeral service following Covid protocol will take place at Celebrations 35 Lindsay Street North, with interment to follow at Emily Cemetery, Omemee.  If desired memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated and may be made click here to donate or at the Mackey Funeral Home 33 Peel Street Lindsay. join zoon meeting   Meeting ID: 894 0858 8261 Passcode: 637938
