Garton, Gerald Truman “Gerry”- Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Victoria Manor on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the age of 93, a few days before his 94th birthday. Gerald will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 67 years Mary (née Box) . Dear brother of Virginia Blank, Gary Garton and predeceased by Betty Woodend, Ted Garton, Vance Garton, Vicky Burgomaster and his parents Joseph and Jean Garton. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Gerald was a rear gunner in WWII for the RCAF. After his service in the air force he and Mary moved to Lakefield where they spent most of their life. A Celebration of Life will take place at Victoria Manor, 220 Angeline Street South, Lindsay on Sunday, May 5 from 1:00 – 3:00p.m. If desired, a memorial donation can be made to the Morton Community Healthcare Centre, Lakefield or a charity of your choice.
