Entered into rest at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Sunday, May 22, 2022. Beloved wife of Morley Thurston for 64 years. Dear mother of Lisa Kerr (Hugh), Shaun Thurston (Doreen), and Melanie Thurston. Loving grandmother of Mitchell Thurston (Emma), Larah Metelka (Tony) and Brooklyn Goard (Stewart). Great grandmother of Violet and Beaux Metelka and one on the way. Gloria is survived by her dear sister Marlene McKay and her special nephew Mark Abernethy (Joelle), sister-in-law Nancy Thurston and brother-in-law Sandy Thurston (Sue), Phil Thurston (Suzanne) and Hugh Thurston (Dot) and their families. Visitation will be held at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay Street North on Wednesday, June 1st from 12:00p.m. until time of service at 2:00p.m. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes or SickKids Foundation.
