Grietje Grace Van Halteren (Vanveenhuizen) ~ It is with sadness and emptiness in our hearts to announce the passing of the greatest woman, our mother. Wife, Sister, Aunt, Oma and Great Oma. Grace Van Halteren, born October 4th, 1936 in Nijkerk, Holland died June 19th, 2023. Grace in her 86th year,  was the loving wife of the late Gerrit Van Halteren, and mother to her children John (Sue), Don (Esther), Jeanne, Gerald (Sheila), Roger and Angie. Predeceased by her mother Jannetje and father Johannes, and survived by two sisters and predeceased by her 3 brothers. Survived by her 16 grandchildren Jacob, Joshua (Ciara), Holly (Casey), Jeremy (Amy), Mark, Scott (Lisa), Eric (Jessica), Kyle (Caitlin), Kandas (Brett), Gerrit, Caleb, Gracyn, Nat, Emily (Devon), Drew (Jenna) and Devin (Brittany) and 12 Great Grandchildren Tyson, Quinn, Keaton, Isla, Arya, Aiden, June, Finn, Karson, Betty, Warren and Wells.  Visitation will take place at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay Street North, on Monday June 26th from 12:00pm until time of service at 1:00pm. Burial to follow after at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay.  Reception to follow at Celebrations. If desired, donations to a charity of your choosing would be appreciated by the family. Donations and condolences may be made through Mackey Funeral Home via cheque.
