BRANDER, Harold Thomas. Passed away at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay Ontario, on Friday September 21, 2018. At age 55 Harold was the loving husband of Janice McDonald for 30 years.

Harold is survived by his brother Clark and his wife Patsy, brother Robert and his wife Peggy, his sister Frances and her husband Glen, his brother Conrad and his wife Judy, brother in-law Pat and his wife Bonnie, sister in law Judy, brother in law Paul and his wife Patty, brother in law Charles and his wife Amy, and sister in law Wendy. In addition Harold will be forever missed by nieces and nephews James, Greg, Jenny, Paul, Adam, Aimee, Robyn, Bobby, Michael, Carlie, Chip, Teagan, Robin, Heather, Aaron, Evan, Shannon, Logan, Jake, Julie, Josh, Ryan and Matthew, as well as several grand nieces and nephews.

Harold was predeceased by his parents Roy and Laura Brander, one brother Stanley, brothers in law Peter McDonald, Ray Whitaker and nephew Chad McDonald.

Harold worked for many years at Burger King, Dartmouth, and Sackville, N.S. and more recently at Goodspeeds Manufacturing in Lakeside, NS.

Harold had many hobbies including boating and traveling however his passion was golfing - he lived for it and loved every round he could get in. He very much enjoyed his Kubota, his Solstice, and of course his Alpine.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at 507 Piggott Lake Road in Mount Uniacke, NS on Saturday, October 6, 2018, with an open house between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m.

A Committal Service will be held at the Bayfield New Brunswick Cemetery on Saturday, October 20th at 1:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Harold’s memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Cancer Society, The Mount Uniacke Wish Givers, or to a charity of one’s choice
