WRIGHT, Howard – Passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Lakeland Village Lindsay, with his wife by his side. Howard, in his 95th year, was the beloved husband of 66 years to Barbara Mark. Loving father of Connie Smith (Jeff), Laurie Bray (George), the late Deanna Barker (survived by Gerry), and the late Doug Wright (the late Brenda). Cherished Pa of Joel (Jen), Connor, and Kelsey (Keith); Andrew, and Emily (Owen); Nolan (Harman), and Joanna (Matt). Great grandfather of Lily, Ivy, and Oakley. Howard was predeceased by his brother Melbourne (the late Wilma), and brother in law John Mark (survived by Judy). Howard lived his entire life in the communities of Peniel and Woodville, he enjoyed curling into his 80’s, and gardening into his 90’s, and was well known for his time spent in the church choirs and being a part of the barbershop singing community. Visitation will take place at Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 1:30 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. A family interment will be held later at McIndoo Cemetery.
