Jane Annette Crabtree

February 27, 1945 - April 18, 2023

Jane was the cherished wife of Cameron Ross Finley, step-mom of Ross Thompson Finley (wife - Anooja). Sister to Adam, Gail and Marya and Aunt to Edward, Matthew, Andrew, Gabe, Bianca, Theresa, Becky, Tim and Elizabeth and friend of so many. Jane was an award-winning artist and writer among many other talents. She was born in Minnesota, came to Canada at age 21 and soon became an enthusiastic Canadian citizen. Jane loved life with a resilient and infectious spirit. Jane's working life included service at Sick Children's Hospital and CJRT-FM in Toronto before moving with her husband Cam to Lindsay, Ontario. Her warm, generous and caring aura will be felt and treasured by everyone she touched. Jane, according to her wishes, will be cremated. A memorial gathering for Jane will be held later this summer. Please do not send flowers but if you wish, you could remember her by donating to your favourite charity. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay.
