(Retired from Centennial College in 2000, Past District Secretary of Victoria District, Past Grand Standard Bearer - Grand Lodge of Canada) Passed away suddenly at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Monday, May 20, 2019 in his 77th year. Son of the late Fred and Jean Cook. Beloved husband of Barb Cook for 36 years. Father of Darren and Garth. John is survived by his brother Roy (Adele) and predeceased by his sister Joyce (the late John Heslink). Loving uncle of Amy Cook (James Cook) and their son Aaron, Laura Cook (Bruce Beechener) and their son Ryan, Scott Heslink (Donna) and their sons William and Davis. Also, Grandpa John to Christie Jolie and Amie Nelson. In keeping with John's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. The family would like you to perform a Random Act of Kindness in memory of John, whether it is holding the door for someone or buying the person behind you in line a coffee.
