GAUVREAU, J.W. Gerald “Gerry” - WWII veteran and former owner of Lindsay Radio Laboratories, and Gauvreau Electronics, passed away peacefully at Victoria Manor at the age of 101, where he was cared for with love and respect by their amazing staff for the past 5 years.  Gerry was predeceased by the love of his life, Mercedes Cuddahee.  Forever loved by his children Laurie Normington (Bill), Greg, Mary Ellen Volaine, Father Jerry, John (Cindy), and Carol Henley (Mark), and Grandchildren, Christopher, Adrienne, Juliana, Sarah, Skylar, Josh, Shaylyn, and Michelle and their families.  Gerry was born and raised in Ottawa by his parents James Albert Gauvreau and Annie Laura Blake.  Predeceased by brothers Raymond, Vincent and Frederick and sisters Frances, Helen, Kathleen, Dorothy, Agnes, and Rita. Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 9th, 2022 from 11:30am - 12:30pm at Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay. Following visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday February 9th 2022 at 1:00pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 40 Russell Street East, Lindsay, with interment to follow at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery, 233 Lindsay Street South, Lindsay.
