Obituary for Ken Meek
Kenneth Meek of Little Britain passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Mary Street, surrounded by family on Monday, January 30, 2024. Ken, in his 91st year was the beloved husband of Marion (nee Benson) for 63 years. Loving father of Raymond Meek (Christine) and her daughter Jenifer, Brian Meek (Michelle) and Karen Meek (Beth). Dear Grandpa of Travis Chandler (Emily) and Kaitlyn Meek (Johnny). Predeceased by his parents Trevor and Sadie Meek and his siblings David Meek, (survived by Noreen), Jean Dainard, Trevor Meek (survived by Sylvia) and Dennis Meek. Ken will be missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends in our church and community. Visitation for all will be at Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Sunday, February 4th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Monday, February 5th at Little Britain United Church from 1:00 pm till time of service at 2:00 pm. Reception to follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Little Britain United Church or the Mariposa Food Bank will be appreciated and may be made by cheque at Mackey Funeral Home.
