Lois Elizabeth Barnes~ Entered into rest in Lindsay on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 in her 89th year. Lois Dickson was the beloved wife of the late Lloyd Corneil (1981) and the late Fred Barnes (2011). Loving mother of George (Jann) Corneil of Toronto and Jane (Ken) Staples and Gordon Corneil both of Lindsay. Predeceased by daughter Joanne Corneil. Step-mother to Ken predeceased, daughter-in-law Allison Barnes and Debbie (Brent) Handley. Cherished grandmother of Christopher (Jill) Corneil, Jaclyn (Marc Sabljo) Corneil, Andrew Staples, Katherine (Doug) Peel, Lauren Smith, Kristen (Jesse Beers) Corneil and Johnathon Corneil. Great-grandmother of Emily Peel, Carson Peel, Lily Smith. Step grandmother of Megan Barnes and Matthew Barnes, Kyle Handley and Ashley (Troy) Sequin. Step great-grandmother of Hayden Sequin. Dear sister of Don Foster, and loved sister-in-law of Doreen Roadhouse. Predeceased by sisters Agnes Howson, Kay Eagan, Wilhelmina Galley, Helen Hickey. A private family service will be held on Monday, April 26th at Cambridge Street United Church at 10:30a.m., with live-streaming of the service available for those who are unable to attend.
