Obituary for Lorna Mark

MARK, Lorna Mary (nee Graham) – After a life well lived, we share the peaceful passing of our loving mother Lorna Mark on December 1, 2022 in her 96th year. Lorna was predeceased by Henry Mark, her beloved husband of 52 years. Loving mother of CarolAnne Hallet (Ted), Mary Herr, Paul Mark (Pat), Gordon Mark (Laurie), Barbara Trent (Allan) and Beverley Delenardo (Mitch). Proud Grandmother loved by 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, all of who brought Lorna such joy. Dear sister of Margaret O’Brien and predeceased by sisters Edna Bent (Howard), Olive Chatten (Bill), Helen Campbell (Jim), Gwen Reynolds (Steve), Doris Standish (Oscar) and brother Doug Graham (Pauline). Predeceased by loving Sister-In-Law Betty Elizabeth Mark, Son-In-Laws Gary Beukeboom and Jim Herr. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was an active member of the Little Britain United Church, U.C.W. and the Lindsay Senior Singing Group. Lorna enjoyed camping with Henry and continued to do so after his passing, singing, playing cards and enjoying life. A special thank you to her many thoughtful and kind neighbours, Dr. Seaton and Dr. Francis and the wonderful nurses at the Surgical South and Palliative Care Unit at the Ross Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will take place at Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Tuesday December 6th, 2022 from 3:00pm – 5:00pm. Funeral service will take place at Little Britain United Church, 1022 Little Britain Road on Wednesday December 7th, 2022 at 1:00pm. with interment to follow at Little Britain United Church Cemetery.
