A long time family friend to the Flynn family. Every time I taste honey or see a honeybee I think of Lorne because I grew up believing every bee was Lorne’s. My condolences to all, you are in my prayers.

Joe Thurston

Lorne served the community of Dunsford earnestly and faithfully throughout his life. His contribution as Secretary/Treasurer of The Dunsford Cemetery Company, Limited, lasted for 55 years and additionally the past 10 years has been an invaluable source of information and advice for those who have tried to continue his work and the entire Board of Directors who will miss his quite consideration, diligent work and timely comments. Like the experienced Pilot of a ship, he knew the charts and also knew the sea floor and how to read the water. His memory of people and their relationships to the community will be greatly missed by the Cemetery Board and the Community at large. His wide life experience of the area, clear and vivid memories of both recent and past events, his thoughtful consideration of events right up to the past few weeks and days have been irreplaceable.
