LOUCH, Marion ~ Passed away after a valiant struggle with cancer at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, July 24, 2019. Beloved wife of Doug for 66 years and loving mother of David and Allison (Terry). Cherished grandmother of Monique. Predeceased by her parents Cecil Dunsby and Robena Hutchinson. Dear sister of Donald Hutchinson, and the late Robert Dunsby (survived by wife Helen). Survived by many nieces and nephews including great, and great, great. Marion was the 4th generation member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Lindsay, a member of the Daughters of St. Andrew's, a former Presbyterian Church Treasurer in Prescott, and a life member of the Ross Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, a foster mother in Prescott to many, former Ladies Auxiliary member for the Royal Canadian Legion in Prescott, a member of the Humane Society, and a dog lover, and she leaves behind her dog 'Toby'. Marion was a military wife for 22 1/2 years before Doug returned to civilian life. They lived from Goose Bay, Labrador to Whitehorse, Yukon as well as the Netherlands during this time. Doug and Marion traveled to many countries both during Doug's military career and after, a favourite being a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Visitation will take place at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Monday, July 29th from 6:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place in the Mackey Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, July 30th with visitation from 12:00noon until time of service at 1:00p.m. Memorial donations to the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Building Fund or the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
