It is with great sadness that the family of Michele Joan Crane announces her passing after a courageous battle with cancer, on Monday May 24th, 2021 at the age of 56 years. Michele was born on August 8, 1964 in Hamilton, Ontario to Renaud and Joan Michaud. On June 4, 1988 she married Charles Crane and they raised two beautiful children. Michele will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 33 years Charles and their children Justin (Becky) and Brittany (Derek) and granddaughter Kendra. Michele will also fondly be remembered by her brother Martin and sisters-in-law Giselle, Pennie (Brian), Phyllis (Dave) and Penny (Ed), Josh (Mary), Hilliard (Judy), Archibald (June) and Mother-in-law Lorie and extended nephews and nieces. Michele was an avid reader and loved Bon Jovi. She enjoyed playing cards with her family after dinner and going to BINGO with Charles. Her granddaughter Kendra was the apple of her eye. She will be remembered for her dedication, determination, strength and generosity. Visitation will be held on Saturday May 29, 2021 from 12 – 4 pm at Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay, Ontario. To attend the visitation guests are required to RSVP for 15 minute periods (please note: the maximum number of guests permitted per time slot is 9). Registration is at www.mackeys.ca. A private family funeral will follow, beginning at 4:30p.m.. To attend the funeral virtually, please join us via ZOOM at 4:15 by following the information below.. A celebration of life will be held when restrictions permit. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Canadian Cancer Society. Donations and condolences may be made through the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay or online at www.mackeys.ca
