Obituary for Paul Callaway

Memorial video - shown on March 13, 2021 - https://youtu.be/3oW5foFKqPI

Paul was born in Guelph, Ontario on March 13, 1939. He grew up in a modest home and spent many hours in his father’s auto body shop. In his teens Paul hitched hiked back and forth from Guelph to The Royal Military College of Canada in Trenton to study engineer.
The video tells the rest of the story.

We are thankful we were able to video tape Paul's last flight in the cockpit from Vancouver to Toronto back in January 31, 1999 shown at the end of this video.

What is not in the video which was later revealed
- Paul understood how important it was to be a giver than a taker
He gave his wisdom, a listening ear, patience, understanding, his faith, his gentleness, his time, his home and his dry sense of humour

For many years he gave generously to:
• Teen Challenge - located in London, Ontario
• Hope and Healing International
• Compassion (in Jesus Name)
• Covenant House
• Wycliffe Bible Translations
• his church (St. Andrew's in Lindsay)
• and dearest to him - The Salvation Army

Because Paul had a passion for music and was a pianist himself - In 1983 he started up the Kiwanis Club of Guelph Music program for the youth and continued to support them over all the years.

Paul had a passion to give and help the youth in as many ways as he could.

Our family will continue his legacy.
